Provisioning for the Voyage

As we are going to be spending quite a bit of time up the quiet backwaters of the east coast we thought it would be a good idea to stock up with non perishable foods before we left. Rather than make numerous trips to the supermarket we decided to get it delivered. As we sat punching numbers into the computer I don’t think we had any idea what that amount of shopping would look like, but we had an inkling when a very worried delivery man telephoned us from the other side of the footbridge to the island. Fortunately Sally, James and I¬†were all able to help him carry it over and he agreed to call back later to collect the boxes it was delivered in. It is now all safely stowed under the raised floor.
